Creative Townes: Eyes Of The Visually Impaired
My name is Affrieka Townes. I am an ambassador of Jesus Christ. I am blind in the left eye and have very little vision left in the right eye due to Retinistis Pigmentosa. Inspite of this difficult challenge, the Lord told me on May 1st, 2024 I would paint and draw and now I am (Isaiah 55:11 "so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it"). He also said that blindness will not stop me. With the leading of the Holy Spirit I bring the images of my mind to my paintings and drawings (Luke 1:45 "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her"). I enjoy creating art and it saticfies me to see the joy it brings to others. It gives me great joy to tell people that God is the one doing this through me and that no matter how limited you think you are, God can do great things through you if you surrender completely to His son Jesus Christ and be obedient to His word.
